Rebirthing Yourself

We all - individually and collectively - need to push a restart button today. Fortunately, the heavens are setting one up.

You may not believe in astrology, but bear with me a moment. People used to use astrology to guide their lives, so maybe, just maybe, there is something there for us.

The planets in the astrological realm are the archetypes that were the Greek gods, each representing a personality type and a vibrational frequency that applies directly to our psychic reality.

The configuration of the planets as seen from Earth is akin to a musical score, the background music to our lives, sometimes sweet, sometimes menacing. Today it is playing a score that may never have been heard before in history, or at least not in the past 6000 years. Neptune, the dreamy water god, rules illusions, mind altering drugs, fantasies. He is moving into Aries in February, along with Saturn. Saturn is the cosmic school master, offering structure, organization and rules. This represents an opportunity to rethink everything! Imagine convening a Constitutional convention to amend the rule book we live by in America. Imagine creating research around psychedelics, putting logical structure behind the numinous. This would be the time for such endeavors.

In addition, we just had a solar eclipse on February 17. Eclipses change things - opening portals for newness. This one fell one day after my own birthday. It has impelled me to create a legitimate vehicle to offer mind changing, indeed, life changing experiences to others as the medical doctor/shaman that I am. More next month on this.

Lastly this is the Chinese Year of the Horse. Not just any horse, - a

Fire Horse. Aries is a fire sign, and this year there will be eight or nine heavenly bodies all lined up in Aries! Fire is movement, action, change.

All this might seem abstract and esoteric, but look at your own life and see how this might apply to you. What do you need to change this year? If you are experiencing anxiety, depression, boredom or unhappiness of any kind - ask yourself what area needs to change? This is the ideal time to take a new job, a new way of living, a new direction, - to move into your full spiritual power, to change what you need to change, manifest what is missing, and become centered in your divine purpose.

The Earth is waiting for each of u to heed the call. She is suffering. How can you help? However small your contribution may seem, each of us is called to do what we can, no more, no less. Listen to your intuition, follow your gut instinct, and never mind what others think. Becoming your authentic self is the only thing that matters and the only thing that will satisfy your inner hunger. Now is the time. Your steed is impatiently pawing the ground, its wings ready to carry you. Take a step in that direction and all Creation will rush to support you. The stars are aligned!
