Why This Outreach

“If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change.

As a man changes his own nature, so does the attitude of the world change towards him”

- Mahatma Gandhi

Global Polycrisis

Humanity is now facing a global polycrisis. This refers to the simultaneous occurrence of a complex web of multiple, interconnected and interacting global threats that include environmental degradation, economic inequality, food insecurity, geopolitical conflicts, and democratic erosion plus several others.  These are not isolated but interdependent, and amplify each other's impacts making the overall situation far worse than the sum of individual problems. They threaten the very stability and sustainability of the living ecosystem of our planet including that which is supporting humanity itself.

At the same time many of our public and private institutions seem to be more concerned with protecting the status quo rather than addressing wellbieng of the populations that they are supposed to support let alone the polycrisis and the underlying issues it represents.

Vested Interests

In today's turbulent, discordant, inequitable and increasingly unsustainable world, it has become difficult to discern truth from opinion, misinformation, and disinformation. Institutions we once trusted, public, private, and governmental alike, have too often strayed from their foundational missions. This is especially true in industries that directly affect public health and well-being: Big Industry, Big Pharma, Big Medicine, Big Agriculture, Big Food, and even the regulatory agencies meant to oversee them.

Greed, short-term profit motive and the influence of vested interests have taken precedence over the long-term health and well-being of the population. Worse still, these entities sometimes knowingly mislead the public, creating addictive or unhealthy products, abusing and polluting the environment, offering symptom-focused treatments rather than addressing root causes and, sometimes, even concealing low profit-margin but effective treatments from the public. Such practices have eroded public trust and diminished their credibility as stewards of the common good.

When institutions prioritize power and profit over people, the ecosystem and our planet, they lose their capacity, and often their willingness, to guide us toward a healthier, more sustainable future.

This website and its affiliated channels are our small contribution to filling that void. We aim to support a grassroots movement by offering accurate, evidence-based information whenever possible, along with practical tools and general guidance for those seeking a healthier and more sustainable way of living.

We believe that by fostering awareness, supporting conscious choices, and empowering individuals, we can play a part, however small, in shaping a more harmonious, equitable, just, and sustainable world for all of humanity, and for the other beings with whom we share this beautiful planet.

Meaningful Change

Meaningful change in our external world begins with internal transformation. To impact society, global issues, or one’s environment, an individual must first work on their own mindset, habits, beleifs and behaviors. This process involves:

  • Shifting one’s thinking to envision a better or alternative reality and accepting it as possible.

  • Adopting new mindsets and identities aligned with the change one wants to see.

  • Taking concrete actions to embody those changes in daily life.

By focusing on improving oneself, a person becomes stronger, more capable, and better equipped to influence the world positively. Changing oneself is a prerequisite to effectively changing one’s surroundings or society because personal growth creates the foundation for broader impact.  Taking personal responsibility as opposed to waiting for others or some external conditions to change first is very difficult to influence and therefore much less effective than starting with oneself. Social and global transformation is tied to individual transformation, and that lasting change requires both inner and outer work.  Self-reflection and personal development is the first step toward making a difference in the world.

Our global crisis not only presents a global threat but also an ontological opportunity to move from entropy (chaos: disorder/ deterioration and destruction of civilization) to one of syntropy (emergence; harmony, love, equity and a flourishing of civilization). When we do this we are evolving consciously to a high state of being which is referred to as conscious evolution. Our website, social media channels and other related outlets are one of many (and growing) humble attempts to assist humanity in moving in this direction of syntropy and the journey of wholeness.
